Are eyelash extensions safe? Can eyelashes damage your natural lashes? Eyelash extensions are a semipermanent solution for making eyelashes look made up without mascara. When correctly applied by a licensed and trained professional, eyelash extensions are a safe way to enhance the look of natural lashes

Can you swim with eyelash extensions? Yes, you can. You can still swim, shower, and sweat in your extensions (although the dryer you keep them, the longer they can last).

Can you use mascara with eyelash extensions? You should avoid layering your lash extensions with mascara. Mascara formula is made up of a combination of oils, waxes, and sometimes preservatives. The retention of the adhesive used to adhere the lash extensions to the natural lash could be negatively affected.

Can you get eyelash extension if you have sensitive eyes? Some sensitive clients can experience lash extensions with the use of a more sensitive adhesive, however, please disclose your sensitivity with me on the consent form and during your consultation as a patch test would be required to confirm whether or not lash extensions are suitable. In the case of a reaction, clients will not be able to proceed with lash application.

Are eyelash extensions safe with contact lenses? Contact lenses should be removed prior to lash appointment. However, immediately following your lash application, contact lenses can be worn.

Are eyelash extensions worth it? ABSOLUTELY! But this question is subjective. As the client, it depends on your “why”. Are you low maintenance and looking for a little pick-me-up or high maintenance but looking to scratch one step from your makeup routine? Are you looking to enhance your natural beauty with a subtle, customized lash set that lasts 2-3 weeks? Are you tired of applying mascara and strip lashes daily? IF SO, lash extensions are totally worth it. Nothing like waking up in the morning with a sprinkle of fabulous :)
